Carrie Black, Senior Associate
“ I love helping people rethink how they approach problems. Sometimes taking a step back from the usual methods and embracing a fresh perspective is the best way to find a path forward”
Carrie loves making things better—whether untangling complex business research, organizing projects, or helping others navigate challenges in their work and lives. She has over a decade of experience in editing, communications, and project coordination across corporate, government, and research environments, bringing both a meticulous eye and a collaborative spirit to everything she touches.
Most recently, Carrie was a senior editor on business research, guiding subject matter experts through the developmental and content editing process, mastering document life cycles and editorial workflows, and shaping internal initiatives to strengthen feedback systems and mentorship opportunities. Earlier, she held roles as a project administrator, interim communications coordinator, and technical editor, supporting federal and international engineering and architecture projects, coordinating with consultants and clients, and editing technical documents ranging from environmental assessments to project management plans.
