Matt Pozos

Matt brings over 25 years of experience leading teams from 3 to 300. Equally comfortable as a consultant and as a business leader, he has driven results in industries including technology, recruiting, banking, healthcare, and higher education. His successes include bringing a failing technology company to profitability for the first time in its 10-year history, redesigning and implementing an $800M strategic account management system to integrate sales and implementation, and tripling profit per employee for a US-West Coast recruiting organization. Matt focuses on building concrete team capabilities like profit management and process design as well as leadership skills including motivation and negotiation. He approaches every new engagement with a drive to fundamentally understand an organization’s position, people, and performance, earning the trust to create solutions as a trusted partner. 

Small businesses have a special place in Matt’s heart, starting from when he ran a 20-person nonprofit after college. Later in his career as a small business lender, Matt saw first-hand the power of smaller and medium sized businesses to punch above their weight when given the chance, the tools, and the financing. Matt believes the dynamism of small and medium sized businesses are what power the  economy, in the same way that diverse cultures and traditions hold the potential for our country’s future. 

When he’s not working, Matt enjoys all things martial arts (despite diminished flexibility), existential and philosophical conversations, and the world of electronic music.
